- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 CUPS CINNAMON PECAN TEXAS PECAN MEAL
- 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
- 3/4 CUP OIL
- 4 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
- 1 TABLESPOON MAPLE SYRUP OR 1 TEASPOON MAPLE FLAVORING
- 1 TABLESPOON CINNAMON
- 1/2 DOZEN EGGS
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 3/4 CUP CHOPPED PECANS (OPTIONAL)
Combine oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla and flavorings in mixer.
Add dry ingredients. (Will look like a cake batter)
Spread evenly on a cookie sheet lined with Parchment paper.
Top with chopped pecans (optional)
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
Until golden brown, but not too dark. (It will look like a sponge cake)
Remove the pan from the oven.
Remove the cake and parchment from the pan.
Slice cake into cookie bars of your desired size.
